Concerns over Ebola vaccine tests
Concerns over Ebola vaccine tests. Ali Gorman reports during Acton News at 5 p.m. on April 25.

There are new concerns about what was thought to be a promising vaccine against the deadly Ebola virus.

During the outbreak in West Africa, a new vaccine was developed by Merck and New Link Genetics.

A report in December said the vaccine was 100% effective.

But now, experts are questioning the way the study results were interpreted.

They say the vaccine provides some protection, but, in reality, that protection could be low.
