Shooting victim found in Kensington dies

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police tell Action News a man found shot in the chest on a street in Kensington did not survive.

Officers arrived after 4:30 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Madison Street.

They rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead just after 5 a.m.

Homicide detectives were working to determine what led to the shooting, and who was responsible.
