Georgia officer saves man in fiery car crash

A Georgia police officer rushed toward a ball of fire to free a man trapped in his car.

An SUV hit a tree, killing the driver, and a passenger was trapped and screaming for help.

Officer Dan Whitney first tried a fire extinguisher.

But when that didn't work, he physically bent the door frame back, far enough to pull the man to safety.

However, the danger still wasn't over because right as Officer Whitney rescued the passenger, something exploded under the car's hood, knocking him down.
