Joining the fight against hunger

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The fight against hunger in Philadelphia is a team effort, and ShopRite Supermarkets has announced it's joining others in the city to combat the problem.

That announcement came Thursday at the store at 52nd and Jefferson Streets in the city's Parkside section.

ShopRite said it would partner with Cabrini College, Drexel Hospitality and Sport Management to supplement local food kitchens in order to feed the hungry in our area.
